Features

This is based on the postcard script developed by Stefan Holmberg that was originally on www.aspcode.net.

• Notification that postcard has been opened by friend
• Original sender can view the postcard before the recipient views it and this does not trigger a "You're postcard has been sent" email
• Copy of postcard sent to sender and to webmaster of website
• Link at the bottom of each postcard (eg., Send a reply to your friend) that automatically fills in the Sender and Receiver fields
• If there's only one category of postcards, no options to switch categories are given
• Postcard script knows if it is hosted to live site or test site and uses appropriate "base link" of website
• Encoded postcard codes to prevent unauthorised people reading your postcard
• List of newest postcards
• List of most popular postcards

Notes

• Please ensure that your IIS webserver has the latest version of Jmail installed.
  To use different mail components, make changes to:
  • sendit.asp - lines 105-114, 124-132 and 144-152
  • viewcard.asp - lines 117-125
• Active Enzymes does not provide support for this product. We cannot assist with modifying this script to run with mail components or problems with setting up the database
